Got a big slap on the hand for finding prices for cobalt members.

I apoligize to all the members if I came off as a vendor. Im just like the rest of you guys and like most are always on the lookout for a bargin. A couple on my posts (to be left unnamed) were flagged for non supporting vendors. I understand, but at the cost of what? I figured I would be somewhat praised for my efforts yet am scolded. Just wanted to rant a little. Thanks for listening.

Saw the post and personally I found nothing wrong with it... I will probably be reprimanded for saying this but understand that this site is about making money... sure you can gets lots of great information but there have been many times when former members were reprimanded for pointing out this obvious fact....

Their site, their rules... don't let it get to you. You aren't the first and you won't be the last...

Oh, and this post will also probably be deleted as well...

I wish they would cause their price right now is the lowest I can find. I bargain hunt like som B1T@H and just want everybody to take advantage of it. O well, its not to say I won't find another distributor in the next day or so that beats their price, but I can't post it here. Guess you guy who are looking for the kit will have to PM me to find out if I've found a better deal somewhere else, and I guarantee I will.

Have you guys checked out shipping charges on that site? I think that's how they make their money. $175 to ship a $91 hood blanket REALLY? Or even $15 to ship a $36 single hood strut and don't tell me it actually costs that much, I've been in S&R for 9 years.

everybody is always worried about everybody elses business. when i seen people post up saying "you need to be a vendor to sell here" and they aren't a moderator, all i can think to myself is "who the **** are you?" Seriously why do you even care let the man stack his paper and worry about your own.

I'm surprised noone has mentioned the obvious.

The mods are just trying to protect a current vender. CED sells the kit for a higher price than you found and is a registered vender...

this happend to me some time back, then I became stingy and stopped letting people know about deals.... genuinesaab.com used to have te BSR tuner for 766 for the LNF, I guess some vendor that uses the BSR tuner got ahold of them and now its well over 1K per tuner now

Crate Engine Depot, which supports your site had posted on the delete string which was advertising for a non-supporting vendor, that if you thought you found a cheaper price than his, to CALL HIM.

Tom is a great supporter of the Cobalts and cobaltss.net. The supporting vendors really need to be you first choice if you value the support and this forum.

OK I am off my soap box now. If you find a better price call Tom.

If a "particular" site seems to be showing higher for shipping, send them an email with a screen shot or a link to the lower price and they will beat it, thats what I did, and also what I got in trouble for. PM me if you need me to check out something for you.

'tis my plan. I'd perfer to give site venders a shot at my business before I go elsewhere. Especially CED, they seem to do quite a bit for our community.
