Best racing video you may ever see

Hello everyone
Several of my friends are featured in this video that shows what racing is all about. I promise that you will never see a better video about autocross than this one. They did a fantastic job. If you have ever done autocross racing, you will strongly relate with this video. It shows why I love racing so much.

Here it is:

Cool video, but can that asphalt be any more beat up? It looks like a bomb hit it in places!

The MR2 driver in the beginning was one of the most unconfident looking drivers I've ever seen.

Wow,

Your course designers need to call ours up here at the mco. Our courses up here have 9 million more little turns and pilons etc... much much more complex. As a result, this prevents a lot of novices from coming out and cuts down on driving fun. I had some buddys want to come out until I showed them the printout of the course which looked like a connect the dots for kids with add..... This looks a lot more fun than ours does.

Most people just want to avoid an 'off course' better yet get a fast time.. I like the way the pilons point to the side you are supposed to be on. However our lot is pretty nice, just too many pilons and little turns.

It's funny, the SCCA prefers that we don't use the word "Race" when we describe autocross. I'm guessing it's for insurance reasons.

Fanastic vid!

Very cool video. I've only ever had the chance to make it out once, but I'm already hooked... This only makes me more stoked for next season.

Whatever guys... Step away from the ignorant street 'Roll-racing etc..' and come out where there's actually a quantitative number associated with your performance. Not some "I beat him by 4 car lenths" BS. Come out and try turning, not some triple-tree-straight line stuff. You still have to know how to launch a car (it's part of the start) but instead of just banging through the gears, you actually have to turn and brake! It's fun, it's cheap and it's safe.

^^ I was pointing out that there was in all about 35 seconds of the nine minute video where someone was actually autox'ing, noone said anything about street racing or beating anyone by "lengths". Did you watch the video past the first twenty seconds?

X2. Our community and cars could gain respect by competing in autocross events. It would be great for our image if people bought these cars to do things like autocross and not just illegal bs stuff on the streets.

Not only that, but they're damn competitive cars.
