Unusual Acceleration Loss

i have been occasionally experiencing something odd with my car recently. after i shift out of 2nd gear and into 3rd, it feels as if there is a second where the car doesnt accelerate normally and feels as if some power is lost, but it only lasts for a second. its kinda like a hiccup or something. does anyone know what the problem is and how it can be fixed? thanks.

Hey I had a similar problem; I was driving for a while so the tires and engine were both warm and I decided to have fun and took an corner fast and come wot out of the turn. when the rmps hit the limiter i lost almost all throttle response. it was almost as if i took my foot off the gas while my foot was al the way to the floor but i fixed this by letting my foot off the gas. Keep in mind i have a 05 LS coupe with an Auto tranny. I only have an CIA and gmpp exhaust right now but I wanted to ask people who know a lot about the car before I take it into to get serviced. If anyone knows what might be wrong please let me know

i get that same thing too.... the hiccup thing... I get that every once in a while on heavy accel. I think the spark plugs might need to be regapped or somthing... what makes me mad was it did it while i was doin a pass at the track one time and it was awesome run until i hit third gear... I ran a 14.8 and i think it could have gotten better if it didn't hiccup.

i get the same thing on my 1-2 shift, the car just kindof falls on its face for half a second then it picks up and goes. could it be a fly-by-wire problem??

not sure, but it sounds u have the same exact problem i am having. i was actually wondering, since somebody earlier mentioned the spark plugs, if i could solve this problem by perhaps gettin the NGK ones?
