what size rims to get?

ok the more i start thinking about it the more i am amping myself up to do it. i want to get the ss/sc springs and shocks/struts to drop my 06 lt. but since i have 16" wheels its not gonna look that sharp. so if or should i say when i do do this (ha ha i said doodoo) i think i might have to get new rims too. what do you guys think 17's or 18's? money is a factor. thanks. oh by the way i love this site!!!!

Im a little lower than a sc and Im also rolling on 17s, it looks awesome and rides perfect for the height, I would say go with 18s

THat is one of the reasons i went 17 got a hell of a deal on them, plus im kinda leary about potholes and shitty roads around here and i didnt like the idea of having to replace tires soon, not sure what your area is like but that is another thing to think about

i dropped mine with the Tenzo springs, prob the biggest drop cuz they drop more than they say, and have 18's, no problems at all but i wish i didnt get rims with a lip.... potholes beat the crap out of the lips and the rims look about 2 inches bigger without a lip, like with the spokes going to the edge

i'd see how it looks with the OEM wheels. the main reason i picked a 2LT was because i thought the wheels were sharp. but i kinda dig factory looking cars.
