Strange Click started today

Whenever i put the car in first to go, 2 seconds after i start moving i hear a strange Click that sounds like its coming from the back of the car. havnt noticed any thing else that its effected but never heard it before, its not the usually clicking that you hear on all cobalts.

Had the same thing happen last month, ended up being a dry axel. The dealer took off the wheel, cleaned and lubed the axel, and now it's gone.

Whenever I put my car into reverse, as soon as I start to move I hear one click. What the hell is that? It's coming from the front of the car, almost sounds like it's the clutch itself.

mine does too, but I think its a result of the ingalls, but if thats the only drawback, I can live with it.

I don't have ingalls though....It just started doing the noise recently. It won't click if a slip the clutch out a little more, but when I back up normally, it clicks once. I can only hear it with the windows down. I'm a bit worried right now....

i did bring it to the dealer last week. he said he's never seen anything like that before, after we went for a test drive and i showed him what it sounded like. and this guy has been working there for like 20 years. anyways he tightened my nuts(ya i know lol) and he said if it continually did it i'd have to book it in for service. well soon as i drove out it was still doing it. so yea, i need to take it in for service but i dont want a stupid loaner car i dont wanna go a day without my ss/sc but i think this week i will book it in hopefuly its only a dayjob thing...

Same problem here. It sounded like the caliper was hanging up on the driver rear. It only happens after I brake about 100mph and turn lol. It also happened whenever I rotated the tires and I made sure I didn't bend any metal or touch the brakes. I will try greasing the axle and hopefully that will get the job done.

Mine has done this a few times and it's just random. I notice it with weight transfer when either going in forward (only 1st gear) or in reverse. Actually mine started doing this when I first got the car, so I thought it was only normal. To me, it sounds like it's related to clutch engagement and maybe just springs in the clutch clacking.

mine does it all the time now, mostly when accelerating or switching gears, any "jerks" in speed does it, simple as that.

Mine does it not everytime but alot. Even my friends does it and his is completly stock but doesnt do it as often. I think it is when there is weight transfer. I usually hear it when i go to take off in first and sometimes when i let off of the gas

i had more of a tapping sound when i was in motion to about 55 mph but it has since stopped so i think that it was just something like a stick hung somewhere making the noise

I want to know what happens with this as well. Anytime I put the car in reverse after being in 1st (or other forward gear) it makes one click then it is gone. Very weird....
