After weeks of bein dicked around by Gm and four days of my car bein in the shop. Finally i got mt answer, Gm is shippin a brand new tranny to my dealer. The district manafger actually had the dealer rip the tranny apart for a possible rebuild, at 16,000 k!!!! The tear down was done by the book and the tech managed to crack one of three housing. This housinf alone cost $1300. The put the total over the top and made it $1000 cheaper to install a brand new one. I'm happy as hell, no more grinding and hopefully waisting second gear. Icing on the cake....Gm has been payin for my rental since its been in the shop.
