Rotors

I saw some drilled & slotted rotors on www.cobalt-addiction.com and was wondering if I'm better off with the slotted or the stock rotors. I've heard arguements both ways.

Some people see that the slotted/drilled rotors wear down the pads faster but give better braking ability.

and I've heard others say that they wear less on the brake pads and give better breaking.

So which one is it?

some claim the wear pads down slower, but who cares the fact is you will get better breaking ability which is what is important

I had them on my cavalier And loved them. I dont think that the pad wear was any better or any wores then they where with the stockers.
But they did perform beter then the stockers did.

later.

You have to be carefull with drilled rotors. Depending on the quality of a drilled roter they have the tendency to crack. I personally have slotted and i love them. They make a big difference.

Just think of it this way... its nice to have all these engine mods stage 2, CAI ect but it you have all that power it would be nice to stop too.
