White wax residue on trim

Anyone know a good way to get the white wax residue off the black trim around the mirrors and the bottom of the rear bumper?

I used to be able to get it off with window cleaner. But, its not coming off this time.

Don't know how to get it off. But a guy I work with suggested Turtle Wax Ice. He said if you get it on any of the trim it doesn't show up like regular wax and you can wax in direct sunlight.

That happened to me, I use Armor All plastic protectant, it came right our and leaves the trim looking shiny, good stuff, just never use it on your interior.

I use the interior vinyl cleaner and what not (3M brand) and it always has come right out. I have it on there now and need to buy some more.

Turtle wax ICE is good. But, I have Mequiers and NXT wax in my garage right now.

Well, I dont think I'll be trying the peanut butter. I dont have any, since Im allergic to it. But, realy the thought of putting peanut butter on my car just sounds to strange for me.

any vinyl/interior cleaner will work....that is what i use and it works perfectly

just spray it on a rag then wipe down the trim with it

mothers back to black works great. or u can use an interior clenaer but u might want to watch using that it comes back off and will leave your vinal on the outside looking daul. and will kill soap suds next time u wash your car

Peanut butter DOES work. I had white wax on all parts of black trim on outside, read somewhere on here that peanut butter would work, so as gullable as I am I tried it, it worked great!

I just used MOTHERS Back to Black. Worked out really well. Has a nice coconut smell to it, if anyone cares.
