im tired of waiting for an extractor hood and i figured im going to go custom and use my existing hood..... i want my final product to look like this



2 seperate extractors.... my plan is to use the stock hood and have these molded in, if i can find these pieces in CF that would be best, i have a black car so it would be cool to see CF growing out of the hood, plus i dont want to get a CF trunk and not have any CF on the hood..... can you guys help me find those exxtractor pieces in CF to mold into my trunk

I would be careful. I think the reason nobody has made it yet is because the exhaust manifold is on the back side off the engine unlike most FWD 4 cyl. You want to make sure you get enough air movement around the exhaust to keep the manifold and engine bay cool.

That is just my theory anyways. I really want a heat extraction hood aswell. Personally I would love to see this one for the Cobalt. I would have the little induction openings on the sides directed down the back of the motor.

ya donna yours is the first i thought of.... but i want a CF piece so that i can have CF emerging out of my paint, will look goofy with only a cf trunk

 

mine is a cf piece...we had to paint some of it though to tie it in with cf trunk

 

yours was CF? thought it was blueish fiberglass
