Arrow Sparco Globe-x on B@M shifter

so i just got my sparco globe-x shift knob and i love the way it looks, but i noticed after i put the set screws in, it dimples into the threads and i was wondering if i messed the threads up or if that is no big deal? Also any suggestions on how to make the set screws stay tight and not want to back out and get lose??? i have had horrible luck in the past with set screws...

Those set screws work great. I shortened my B&M shifter even more, so there were no threads to screw up. If your worried about the set screws coming out, use a dap of blue locktite on the threads.

2K5SS/SC? how did you get the shift knob on so low and still have reverse lock out?? I had to play with me a little bit to get it up high enough for the reverse lock out to work...i really love this knob though, it looks good and i like the way it feels

If you read his post he said that he cut the shifter so it was shorter.

ummm ya i can read, if you read my post i was asking how he got reverse lock out to work, which makes sense to ask that question since his shifter is shorter than mine...

Sorry you took as me trying to be an ass, I only meant that he had posted above that he cut it. I misunderstood what you were asking. I thought you were wondering how he got the shift knob on that low. I'm not sure what he did for the reverse lock out, but it still works. Here is his original thread on it.
