Angry Craziest Way To Get A Flat Tire!

So ive had a shitty day...went to my interview to finish the hiring process and forgot my second form of id, so i gotta drive another hour and some odd minutes in traffic on monday...check my mail before going back home and i get my speeding ticket thats costing me 282 bucks!! So i figure it couldnt get any worse right? Bullshit was i ******* wrong...im on the last turn to get into my neighborhood and i move into the bike lane so i dont get hit by traffic as i slow down...well i roll over the strom drain like i normally do but one of the bolts that holds the drain down, someone unscrewed it and put it facing up, well my front tire misses it but my back one caught it...so now i have to get a brand new tire which is gonna cost more money that i dont have right now....check out this bullshit and tell me what you think.

HAHAHA! now thats some straight up bullshit bro, i think it was destined to be your tire too. u know what i would do, id take that effin bolt out and find an effin hack saw and cut through most of it untill i could break it in half with my bare hands....thats what i would do.

damn that is crazy. I would call the city and complain about the drain with the loose bolt. Here in michigan most of the time they will cover the cost of having whatever was damaged fixed. They redid a road with like tar and stones and a stone cracked my windshield and they paid for a new one. Also a friend of mine hit a huge pothole and broke a tierod on his car and they paid for that as well

that same thing actually happened to me. i was driving through philly and i somehow got a screw in my tire. i hadn't noticed it until a few days ago and by that time, the screw had been in there for over a week. i knew there was something weird because every time i drove i would hear the clinking sound from the screw hitting the pavement, but it took me the longest time to figure it out.

damn dude, that sucks major *****.

I'd take other's advice and take it up with the city first, and then if they don't do anything about it, go get some new rubber!

Unfortunate, except for getting the job!!!

Crazy idea: Take a pic of the bolt as it is in the grating, and take that, plus the pics of your tire, to your town's DOT office. Put up enough of a fight, and they'll likely reimburse you for the tire. People do that in my town all the time, where our pothole-laden roads freqently cause tire, wheel, and suspension damage.

Good luck.

I had that 4 inch piece of metal through my back tire, went all the way through too. Call the state claims dept, get the forms fill em out and send em into the state. They should be responsible for the damage. I'm waiting to hear about mine...
