I just called chevy and asked them how long I had before it was too late to order my Cobalt and I was told the only way to make sure it gets built is to order it 2 months before June 17th...

I beleive that has already happened or is close... disapointing news...

doesnt make too much sense that i'm allowed to order the car up unitl the end of may but it might not get built...

if anyone ahs some light to shed on this feel free

2005 Cobalt Buildout Information & Final Buildout Date, 2006 Startup Date

2005 Model Year Cobalt Final Production Date

Dealers will be able to consense (agree to accept allocations) for their buildout 2005 Cobalts in early May, 2005.

Allocations available during the May consensus will be available for production June 6 thru June 17, 2005.

The final date of 2005 production is June 17, 2005.

Dealers will be able to view their final, actual allocations on May 18, 2005.

Dealers will see their first allocations (if they have them available) within which they can approve orders on May 19, 2005.

2006 Model Year Cobalt Startup Production Date

Dealers will be able to consense (agree to accept allocations) for 2006 Cobalts in May, 2005.

Dealers will be able to view their final, actual allocations on June 16, 2005.

Dealers will see their first allocations (if they have them available) within which they can approve orders on June 16, 2005.

If I was going to buy an SRT i would have 2 years ago... I didnt becuase its a NEON it looks like a neon I really dislike the style fo the NEON. I dont like exterior or interior. NOt my taste.

Still waiting on my red SS and I actually thought about a Neon SRT-4 since we have a dodge dealership also.. But.... Its so fugly i wouldnt be able to drive it (and its a 4 door family looking car).

My point is I'm sick of NEONs The Cobalt SS is just lie the Cobalt BUT they are both brand new.
And the STock cobalt is much nicer than a stock neon btw.

I got sick of the neon years ago why would i want one with a boost gauge? I'll get sick of the cobalt too prob and on to the next car we go.
