Upper and Lower grill project complete

I've had the upper grill done for quite a while as most of you know.......but thanks to WSFrazier trading in his 2.4 SS, I was able to get my hands on one of GM's plastic lower grills. So I went to work with the dremel again, and this is what I came up with.......hope you all like it.

The bottom piece was actually harder to do then the top one.......had to putty a lot more holes on the bottom one.

eyelids are painted on......therefore they won't fade, and there is no bubbled up vinyl

really hot!!! thats EXACTLY wat i planned to do to mine whenever i get around to it....GREAT JOB....if u by any chance have IO Digital Cable and can manage to find the cobalt under the autos section, the SS prototype that was unveiled in some car show has that same honeycomb upper grill in it, i wonder why they chose to switch it back....i wonder if gm would sell that grill?? but i HIGHLY doubt it. it would be cool tho

Looks soooo sweet. I like! I'm also strangely digging the 2-Tone.

You guys got hail, lmao it was ntohing but blue sky and hotness today. Damn shame I had to work. Took your advice and took 22 all the way down to imperial and I found some fun down there.

When I get mine fixed ima have you do that to mine, just done know what color I should use instead of the silver. I def. want the black mesh, but I need something for the frame. Since your apparently good at dressing up, start thinking of something good with orange. My bowtie too. lol

silver frame with black mesh would probably look pretty good on your car as well.....i'll photoshop it first though

Maybe a darker silver. I don't think the bright silver would look to good on orange. I think his car would look good with a dark silver frame and lighter silver mesh. But that's just me. You're the expert here

BEFORE

AFTER

the silver lip on the bottom is just enough to make it consistant with the upper grill, looks soo much better now. Plus the Black mesh is much better then the silver, IMO

could you possibly pop the bottom grill off and get a couple of behind shots so i could see what it looks like...i want to do this and i have an idea of what to do but i dont want to mess it up--the pics would be a great help if you could get them
