Looks great. I may have to condsider doing a lower one as well now. I color matched mine to the car and painted my mesh black. It really brought out the aggressive look I was aiming for.

Do you have any pics of the backs of either grill? I tried doing this mod for the upper grill and couldn't really find a clean way to keep the mesh affixed to the grill. A small stone hit it on the the thruway and popped the mesh right off. Thanks

edit- i used marine epoxy to hold it on, but that obviously didn't work too well

Finally got mine done...pretty sure im putting some black on the bottom around the lower grill like you have the silver... thanks for the idea. i love the way it looks

Got the mesh as autozone...then found out you can get some at the hardware store for dirt cheap.. but the black came from Duplicolor

Looks really good. A friend of mine has a red SS/SC and I did the same setup on hers (black mesh, black frame, and lower black mesh grill) If i can dig up some pictures, I'll post em up.
