Removing Lic Plate Bracket

I was wondering how one would go about removing the front Lic plate bracket. There are three grommets and I can't Seem to pop them off. If I look from behind I cannot see/feel anything. Is there a secret? I have an 07 SS/SC if there is a difference from the previous years. Thanks in advance.

the front licence plate mount is actually rivet it in. I had a tough time removing them without damaging my bumper, then I went to autozone and got some plugs to cover the 3 holes left.

Good ol rivets. Just drill them out (the centers) and plug them anyway you want

Its because that mysterious SEARCH button always runs and hides when you need information

Anyone know if the front liscense plate can be removed and placed in the windshield and still be perfectly legal??? I hate that fact in Texas that you have to have a front liscense plate. I'd just do it but I just so happen to have a couple of warrants out for me and can't take the risk.
P.S. Those warrants will be taken car of by the end of this year/beginning of next.

Gotta check your local laws. When I do my PDI's at work we just toss the plates in the windshield with no problems
