oil filter??
it's in an odd location, but very easy to get to.. .take off your plastic engine cover, and it will be to the left of the airbox... it is white, and has a very large black cover... i use a big pair of plyers to take it off... good luck!

The location is right, but DO NOT use pliers to remove that cap. I made the same mistake on my '03 cavalier and cracked the retaining cap. I didn't realize it until several hours later when my car was puking oil all over my driveway. Luckily I hadn't driven more than a few miles before I caught it.
Do yourself a favor and invest in a 32mm socket and an extension. That is all you need to properly remove and re-install this cap. I would also suggest a torque wrench so you don't overtighten and destroy the flange on the cap.

You are freaking awsome i looked for that darn thing for like an hour....lol
you're welcome... if you're looking in the engine bay, it would be directly to the right. i'm a videographer, so my rights and lefts are off sometimes. (stage right is the left side, stage right is the left)
