Arrow gm stage 1 & 2 question?

i just purchased gm stage 2 kit and im wondering if i can install the stage 1 section of it have the reflash done with out installing the pulley. i am waiting on the pulley puller from my friend and figure i can get the first part installed and over with. and then when i do install the pulley just leave the battery cable off for a while? if any one knows please let me know.
thanks

No need to disconnect the battery.

You should be able to flash it and do the injectors with out the pulley. The only thing different about the pulleys is the boost. Will just be running rich.

cool. i should have the puller this week anyway just i have time to drop the car off to get the flash before i put the pulley on.

when pulling the blower did everyone have to change the gasket or is it one of those 50/50 chance things? i order a new one any way just figured i would need it.

i've never done it, but my opinion is, If it's not that expensive, why not do it. It can't hurt anything and i'd rather spend a few extra bucks rather than having my seal not sit right and leak.

It's a 50/50 thing. Be very careful when you pull it off so that you don't damage the gasket. If you don't damage the gasket you are good to go with the stock one.

There is only 1 PCM reflash and that comes with Stage 1. Stage 2 just adds the belt and smaller pulley. And no, you will not run richer without the smaller pulley. IT'S THE SAME RE-FLASH. You may actually run a little lean with smaller then Stage 2 pulleys but I imagine that's with something smaller than a 2.7".
