Hey all. Just picked up my car on monday and have been driving it around for the last week. Man i love that thing! Just wondering what you all think is the first thing i should do with it? I was thinking the stage 2 but i have to wait till the engine is broken in a little more. I only have about 400km on it.

Anyway, just thought i would say hello to all the albertan Cobalt owners and get any advice anyone feels like sharing.

hey man, congrats on your new SS, is it the SS/SC or SS/NA and what color is it? ya stage two would be awesome, but personally i would get intake/cat back first, it doesnt matter, just my opinion.

If you drive it all winter, get winter tires and wheels, and the block heater. All three of those will make you much happier in the winter. The lower grill from a 2.4L SS is also worth it to help save your rad. I think the car looks better with it too.

Otherwise do stage II and and the GMPP sport exhaust. Might put these on later this summer.

Congrats on the car! What color and options did you get?

Hey all. Thanks for the welcome. I got the SS/Sc, red, black and red leather seats (probably my favorite part of the car, lol), xm radio....then all the standard stuff sun roof ac... power everything. So you think exhaust would be a good first mod purchase? I am kinda a noob at this whole mod thing but am excited to do it. Any advice is welcome advice !! Would also love to see other peoples cars and work they have put into it.

Welcome to the site and congratulations on the new car. Best thing to do as far as modding goes is get a second job and mod the hell out of it.;)

Congrats! Remember to not be too hard on it in the first 500 - 1000 miles (Not sure what that translates to in km)

I say, once your broken in, go for Intense stage 4!

Welcome BTW!
