NEW SS S/C Stainless Exhaust! Dezod Style...

Well guys we did it. We have a exhaust we designed for the Cobalt SS S/C 2.0L that will maximize supercharged FI flow, and not compromise too much low end TQ. The exhaust is made of full 304 Stainless Steel, and has a rather large resonator in it to make sure sounds levels are more crisp and not too loud. The piping diameter is 2.75", which is a great compromise of power and flow. We will have pictures shortly (hopefully later this week).

The exhaust will have a brief intro price with free shipping to the 48 states (Canada and AK & HI are extra). The regular price on this system will be in the $600-665 range plus shipping. The pre-order pricing will be $599 shipped for a little bit. So who wants in?

Stay tuned for the matching high flow cat too!!!

I have an idea for you Dezod, as well as saying thanks! for all the updates and price options, and new products you guys are pushing...How about a Block to tip exhaust system! Or I have another idea, an exhaust a la carte section...you choose from drop down menus which header, combined with another menu for which DP, then another with which catback system you want...just throwing some ideas out there, and this goes for all vendors as well...then a price calculator will add upi your total at the end, I want a FULL exhaust, but know that I don't want 3". 2.50 is how I want to go from the header, all the way back...thanks again for the updates...

but why so expensive...i don't get it, i have purchased a good 5-6 different cat-backs for various vehicles and have never had to spend more then 500 bucks...and that was on a borla system...all stainless, most 2.5"

R&D AND stainless is expensive. Not to mention 304 at that, not 409 like a lot of companies. Also, larger diameter piping is always more expensive as well.

Yeah and 2.75" is an odd size, mostly its 2.5" or 3"

Point and case. No competition and a great compromise between 2.5 and 3"

There might be no competition in that size but what matters to us is perfromance gain. Is there any real benifit in going 2.75 over 2.5 or 3".

In the world of forced induction it goes as follows:

Smaller diameter piping = more low-end TQ and sacrifice of top end HP
Larger diameter piping = more top-end HP and sacrifice of low-end TQ

Middle ground of 2.75" is the best of both worlds honestly.

I guess that makes sense. I have to see the dyno's first before i decide to change my exhaust. On my 3" i don't have a resonator and i love the sound. Is there going to be any way not to get the resonator when ordering. Also when sound is compaired to other exhausts which one does it sound closest to?

My custom Borla is fine for me for half that price thanks though. I am sure it does not sound like a coffee can.
