Installed the re-welded "Darkhelmet" brace

OK... So the guy in my shop got teh discarded brace all re-welded and cleaned up.

Now that the rain has held off long enough for the gravel to dry, I was able to get out there and try it on for size.

I was amazed how easy the brace went on. I know Dave's brace was a snug fit over the bolts, but mine went on really really easily. So easily that unlike Dave's... I had to put a wrench on the bolt to keep it from turning while tightening.

Ao, I for it all tightened up and took it for a ride. No binding, no "weird" feelings from back there, so I think all is well. I need some good twisty roads or the autocross to see if I notice the difference, but you guys that have installed them say you notice, so we'll see.

Maybe we'll get together soon gang... hope the clutch install is going/went well.
