the dealer called me today and said they got there first G5 in and they would like for me to come look at it. so i did and i love the car so much i called my dad at work and he said we will talk about it when he gets home but i have to sell the sunfire so after i make this post im out to clean the sunfire and get a forsale sign heres a few pics of the G5 i hope to own soon.

 

What colour is that? at first i wasnt sure if i liked it but it does fit with the car...goodluck getting it

 

the dealer said it was spice red? i fell inlove with that color when i saw it. and thanks i hope i get it so bad.

 

OH WOW! That New 07' Black Tie Radie looks SICK! And I like the Dash better on the G5 then the Balt. As good as it Looked in silver, that Gun Metal look is SAWEET! With the new Radio, 07' Balt will be kick a$$! BTW Good luck gettin it man, Looks Bad ASS! Love the Back tail lights!

That's probably the best view of what the new 07 cobalt is going to look like. It's the same everything except the tail lights and the grille. I might have to order those clear corner lights from pontiac to put on my cobalt. The shifter doesn't look like it has a reverse lock out though.

Well... the headlights do look much better without the crappy yellow back reflector.

G5 GT has the 2.4L VVT.... base G5 has the 2.2

Not from the factory on all models. Not an option on the SS/SC, not sure about the base and 2.4s w/manual transmission.

My friend has the armrest on his SS. doesn't get it the way at all. We need some more storage in the car, I didnt check if it came with a storage bin. But since these 2 cars are the same, the G5 has one so the Cobalt probably has it.

 

So basically you like the back lights and grille better?

 

It IS a Cobalt with a different top grill, different taillights, and different wheels..........how can they look any more than slightly different??????

 

The G5 Doesnt have the Reverse Lockout, i kinda wondered that when i got mine, but its all good , stilll does the same job

 

can anybody get my part number for the upper grill on the G5, i have been trying to get this for a long time, anybody!?

I did not know that you guys did not get the centre armrest with the manuel shift,we have it on the G5 up here anyone notice the interior dash trim is a different color?

 

ya that trim is nice, I might want to swap interiors now. haha. The silver on ours flakes anyways. Maybe I can get them to replace it with the G5 stuff. That radio is sick!

 

The 2.4SS comes with the armrest standard. The G5 GT is the 2.4SS. Same shifter and all. Only thing different of course is the wheel as far as interior wise. All the 07 cobalts should come with that 3 spoke wheel and that radio.

 

I heard the 07's are the same as the G5 interior, Not sure about the trim though.
