'06 @ 0% apr!

suppositly Gm is having this 0% for 72 months deal now, so I think its finnaly time to get my cobalt. I have been eyeing up this one 2.4 ss. its laser blue, manual and has the mp3 player and pioneer system. this is the closest one to my specs i could find around here; i would also like air bags and sunroof, but i wont push my luck. I calculated the prices and i would be saving 2500 from intrest rates. And I can probably get a thousand off the msrp. Should I jump on this deal or should I wait till the end of the summer and get an 07?

The question is, how bad do you want those options to pass on the 0% for 72 months...if there important enough then order a 07. JMO

Two things about Pace Blue ( I've seen pics ), it's an ugly color ( if you want to even call it a color ) and I don't think it's going to be offered now.

sweet, which cobalt did you get?
yeah about credit... i dont have any, my mommy is technically going to purchace the car and I have to pay her for it. I hate this whole "credit" system.

ahh so pace blue is stupid? is it like a pale blue?

anyways going in tommarow to see what the dealer can do for me. wish me luck.

I guess you could call it pale blue, Chevy no longer has it listed in the 07 color line up anyways. Good luck.

I would definately get a 06 now.

I got my 06 when they first hit the dealers in 2005... and paid full sticker plus normal interest for it... $22,000 for the SS 2.4.

Don't make that mistake... jump on it now while they're cheap.

I just picked up my Black SS SC yesterday, and took advantage of the 0%. My first stick, but I am loving the car already.

Ask about rebates too. cause I looked at getting an 06 silverado and they said it was 0% or 5000 rebate. I could have gotten a brand new 06 v-6 silverado 1500 for 12710.

well didnt have a chance to go in today. i know i will be saving 2500 (car = 18,000) on this o intrest. I highly doubt any dealer will offer a cash back more than 2500 on a new cobalt. I am going to shop around and see who can cut me the best deal on top of the 0 apr, cuz i know dealers want to move out all the 06's anyways.

Question, who is taking the punch on this 0 apr? its not the salesman is it?

Well, didn't get to the dealer in time, they sold the car before i got there. I guess I will have to wait for the 07, and that means 4500 more. But at least i will get all the options i want! thanks for answering all my q's.

No dont do that. Go in and talk to a salesman or the sales manager and get to locate a car for you and do a dealer trade. You would be dumb to pass up the 0% deal.

I sold our last SS/SC last night and believe me, I wish my payment was that low on my car.

That WAS with the 300 mile search. seriously NO ONE around has a blue 1ss coupe in a manual transmission. I was just a day late. besides, i will have the car for the next 10 plus years, might as well get all the options i want, which means ordering a 07. I will go to the dealer the first time they have a sale on 07's. I'm not paying full price for this car, 20,000 for a compact car is rediculus...
