Well if you do it before the fifth and have decent (Mine was in the 650-700 range) credit you can get it for 0.0% interest thanks to a deal GM is running. And that is for up to 72 months!

So uhhh... that and it is a hella fun little stick shift to drive did it for me.

But I'm not a raceer or anything so I'm not looking for a rocket car.

First things first, take it for a test drive. Second Read car reviews, and since your into modding etc, check out some of the performance sites.

Seeing as how your making the $23,000 (or more) purchase, you shouldn't need to be convinced by anyone else.

Go drive it, if that doesn't convince you then get a different car. We don't need to convince you, you need to convince yourself.

From: soon to banned as I am from MANITOBA?
$23000 US (you could do better than that I paid $23,000 cdn last year) $650 for stage 2 and $100 for a 2.8" pulley you have a warranted rocket ship that will do less than 14 sec. in a 1/4. Can you beat mustangs? you bet. compete with a 350Z? Yes. Beat a charger 5.7 Liter Hemi? Hell Yeah. you can see where I am going. Do the exhaust and intake and you are at the limits of the engine stock. But you want more? replace pistons, head work, cams, cam timing gears, HP Tuners, smaller pulley, 400HP is attainable but you have a motor that is good for 600HP. more aftermarket support is coming. expect turbo or twin charged kits to be out soon. this will require other mods - 60lbs injectors, axle half shafts, perhaps fuel system upgrade, maybe a stronger clutch.

NOTE: Get G85 - which is the code for the package for LSD and Recaro seats. $1500. money well spent.

Performance goodies? - get Eibach sportlines and that should be all you need. Tires 225/40r18 go in easy but 235/35r18 may fit too. I will be finding out next year when I get tires.

One last thing - if you get Onstar and/or XM radio it is difficult to change the head unit. without these features you can just take out the head unit and replace it with what ever you want.

Would I buy it again? if it had to be a front wheel drive absolutely! cannot beat the performance for price for new car. otherwise I would look at RWD cars and thats it.

Hope that is what you were looking for.
