17x8 rims....

not sue of what tire to use to avoid rubbing.....235/40/17 but if i can get away with it 235/45/17 is what i would rather run but i dont think it will work =/

forgot to add i willl be installing hr spring within the next month or 2 so that will be a factor as well.

+40 is the offset, here is a pic of the wheel

well if theres a cobalt owner around my area I'll let him test fit a 245/45 tire on a 17x8" rim to their car and we'll tell you how it turns out.

where are you getting them and how much money??? weight??? i am thinking of jline's 18x9.5 i know gm says that 9s will fit and i am cheking with jline about 9.5s
