As far as i know the 07 won't work in the 05/06. The new radio is made by fujitsu and i believe the connectors are different. However the part# for the black radio is 22714658 and the grey face is 15284733. According to my GM system they have stock at the Brownstown Michigan facility but the pricing has not been set up by GM yet.

I recall a member buying one of THOSE radios from a HHR and said it hooked up but didn't fit the dash, so I don't see why it wouldn't hook up.

Different manufacture could be using different wiring. But in a mass produced vehicle I just can't see that happening. There is no way GM would want to change both the radio AND all the wiring in the car. They would certainly have the new manufacture use their wiring harness.

At least that would be the most cost effective method.

That's what pised me off when I bought it. The dealer signed something that said they would hook me up when a 6 disc option came out. Here it is so I wan't my toy damnit!
