Anyone driving around with or has driven around with the 42.5 injectors without the reflash? I'm asking because I have the injectors and have to make a 200 mile drive to get the reflash. I want to install here at the house but if driving on them for for 200 miles can create a problem then I'll swap them out when I get there.

 

I did beacause I went to the dealer Friday morning and after the installation ,the tech guy call the 1800# and the authorisation code came you invalid

We tried the car and it ran very well so I let for the weekend and came back on Monday afternoon (I just srive the car normally ,no puching)

The only think is I got 20 kpa extra and 100 kpa max because of the smaller pulley but no real power gain.

It wont hurt anything your injectors will only flow as much as the factory ones because the comp wont give them more fuel.

 

Injectors are now in and after running car for about 20 miles I got a cel. Is this because the ecm isn't liking the injectors without the reflash?

 

you could also just plug in a maf-t for a while

 

Likely running a little rich.

 

Took it to Autozone to scan and it scanned 5 codes all rich related. Cleared the codes and just babying the car till reflash. No cels by taking it super easy.
