Got a call from my salesman and was told unless I drop the G85 package my Ss/Sc will be on indefinite hold. Oh well, the recaros would have been nice, don't have to worry about snow down here so I guess I won't miss the LSD. He said I should have the car in a month. I'll believe that when I see it. If he would have checked when I called a couple of weeks ago he would have known this was going to happen and might have shortened the wating time. He always says, "The public knows what's happening before the sales staff." I'm glad my Doctor doesn't say that when I go for a checkup!

 

That's normally the case. Knowledgeable sales reps are not all that common.
I usually have to tell the guy about the car that he's suppose to be selling me.

 

interesting, was ur car built already, or no? mine was built on 4/6, and been on hold since, with no answer as to y... i will find out wednesday if i get the same answer as u... i'm gonna tell them to take my car and shove it, i bought an '04 monte ss/sc, for the same price as the cobalt ss/sc... 9 months is way to long to wait for a car...

 

I was told I had a build date of 5/2. Have no idea if anything happened on that date or not. Only found out last Friday of the hold status and that I would have to drop the G85 for my order to continue. I placed the order a couple weeks before xmas and will NEVER buy a car this way again!
