For some reason I have to pretty yank on the parking brake in my SS/SC as hard as I can to get it to engage. I had this same problem on my old Cavalier and had to take it into the dealership to get it fixed. Does anyone know how I could adjust it myself? Thanks

possible adjustment under the handle, pull out the center console and take a peek. otherwise pull off the rear wheels and do the adjustment from there.

 

with new disc brakes it should adjust its self just by using it but since it obviously doesnt try under the console or take it to the dealer they should be able to do it quick

 

you can adjust it under the councel, take the rear cupholders and the plastic around the ebrake off youll see what i mean
