The Rk body kit runs about 565 not bad.... but does anyone know the round abotu price for install and paint ?? our can i get it painted and install myself?? risky i know

 

Not to correct you but Cobalt SS.net members get the kit for $535.50

Don't skimp on the paint, make sure your painter knows how to prep and paint urethane!

If you have never installed a body kit before, dry fit it 4 or 5 times so you get an idea of exactly how you will install it.

Get the pieces painted. Before install, call some buddies over, while you are waiting for them to arrive wash your Cobalt like you normally do and dry it thoroughly! Have your buddies help you dry fit it once or twice more marking the edges with a "grease pecil" or sometimes called a "China pencil" and make notice of where the tape will stick. This is the most important part, wipe the area where the tape will stick 10+ times with a clean lint free towel and rubbing alcohol. I don't mean back and forth 10 times I mean wipe the area, move on to next area, go back and wipe the area X's 10!! Make sure it's clean and do not touch the area!! Install your body kit!

After you are finished you owe your buddies a ride to the local hangout to show off your "hard work"
