That's sweet. Apparently there's another commercial playing on the whole sibling rivalry theme, where the Cobalt passes the Vette, and then the Vette passes the Cobalt and gets pulled over for speeding as the Cobalt passes laughing... I haven't seen it but I heard it was out there. Cool commercials either way, I think "the Corvette's little brother" is a great marketing theme for the Cobalt SS.

dude my insurance was between 3 and 4 grand a year with my cavalier.....BEFORE my latest accident. i still think i'm screwed with insurance

they should've had the Camaro police car pull over the vette instead of the old and busted caprice...it seems they are trying the old ads for the camaro with the new cobalt..."the closest thing to a vette yet"...interesting considering there is substantiated rumors of a return of the camaro in the not so distant future...but an awesome commercial none the less.

IM just a little suprised that the car hasnt been "shown" more to the public. They dont know what they are missing out on. But then again. This could be good for us. That way when the car comes out we will get it in a heart Beat. Shoot. I have already called ever dealership in my COUNTY and left my cell phone number with them. That way when it comes in the call and I BUY. :P

I agree. The ad's are awesome and the whole pesky younger brother who wants to be like the Vette is a great marketing angle, but you don't actually hear or see alot about the Cobalt in those commercials. They are probably lead ins to start "buzz" about the Cobalt and when it comes out they will focus more on the car itself, but I'd still like to see at least one full panoramic shot of the Cobalt by itself at the end of the commercial. Might just be me, but I think it's a great looking car and GM could show that a little more.

Yeah your right. They show the vett more then the cobalt. Not that we dont love the vett, but for the money... I'll just take the Cobalt. :lol:
