Wow... This sucks

How much are you guys paying for insurance? I called them today and asked how much it would be, and they told me $413/Month -- Thats INSANE.

I don't know how I'm gonna afford that, but I've already assured myself I'm getting this car...

Oof, that hurts. You might want to look into 2.4 or 2.2 engine instead of the SS/SC, and then do your own work.

Wow you all must be a bunch of younsters as I pay $131 a month for the Cobalt , my wifes Truck & a cycle all full coverage! But I'm 44 years old with a great driving record

umm about 1100 a year for an ss/sc...and im only 19 hahaha...apparently they messed up but shhh its suppsoed to be 2000 a year

Wtf?

I'm still on my parents - and when I went from an 02' Trailblazer 4x4 to the SS/SC bolt it went up like 430 bucks a year... it's over 2,000 a year - and that's NO accidents. Granted I'm only 20 - but I'm a fulltime student with a 3.7 GPA - you'd think I'd get a 'good student' discount or something --- we also have 9 vehicles insured with Geico between the 4 of us, we've gotta switch... cause that's just terrible.

^^^GEICO wanted like $2200 ever 6MONTHS from me for my damn LS, thats not even full on ***** to the wall covered, that was for the minimum req. from GMAC..., being 19 and having ur own insurence sucks!!!

ive never been on my parents insurence... had it in my name since the day i got my license... it sucks when you have min coverage on a 00 4door cavalier and it still cost you ~$110/month...

My dads company said for me to be on his fully covered as a "permission driver" It would add $300 a month... I called insurance comapnies and they quoted me like $600-$800 a month for full coverage, I was like whoa IM NOT DRIVEING A FERRARI!!!
