Winter wheels heads up for the SS crews...

Hey guys....

Just was checking Tirerack for some wheels and tired for the drag strip, and while looking at winter wheels ( only way to fool the site to find sizes ), they have STEEEEEEELIES listed now.

1 type... 16 X 6.5.... $49 each.... they are not in stock yet, but they are listed as being available as of 9-15

just a heads up for anyone looking for wheels this winter...

I called yesterday and the ******* said that I just needed to call back periodically because he didn't know when they would be coming in. Thanks for the tip.

Great to hear. I know someone who bought G6 wheels as winter wheels, but I think they were the alum wheels and they said the hub isn't 100% snug, but otherwise fit fine.

I just thought that between the wheels, snow tires and shipping it's not a bad price.

As far as tire rack not having them and telling a person to call back.... well since they're not scheduled to be in stock until September, that makes sense.
