Well, I've been blessed with a dealership thats supportive with my modding. I happen to be very good friends with the salesman who sold me my car and I frequently go visit him and the others that work there.

I'll get to the point, today I got approached by the General Manager and he proposes that our locals meet at his dealership. He also mentioned that he'd be willing to cut us a deal on parts, I get them at 10% off retail and sometimes even more than that. He sees this growing into something bigger than just the few cobalt members we get to come out to out to our weekly get togethers. He also mentioned some financial backing and even a car show in the future.

I know that a few local owners voiced a willingness to start a car club and I think this is a great opportunity to do that. Please let me know what you think about this.

Hey Doc, do you think you could convince this guy to get you the GM Stage 2 Flash for when you come down? Of course I'm willing to pay some dollars, but all I want from GM is the flash and I know I can't get it from my dealerships.

Now ya see...there ya go hurting my feelings. I only said yes because i saw that you did too and i just wanted to hang out with you. but after that....i changed my mind. count me out!!

 

Any info on the meets? And Doc, how supportive is your dealership? Mine wont let me touch anything except GM performance parts so I'm stuck trying to find a way around warranty work.
