I have owned this car for 13 days it been in the shop 4X now here the list:
1. Paint under drivers side rear window cracking
2. Paint shop left drip mark from painting and found a dirt ball under paint on hood
3. Belt shredded on on Stage 2 Upgrade
4. Service Engine Light
This is my first Chevy and its not going real well!
Call On Star they said something about the fuel management system code?
Any suggestion what it could be, the light did not come on until I turned the AC on and after I had the upgrade done.

 

Didn't you take it for a test drive and look at it before you drove it off the lot?

 

I did it ran great I put 50 miles on it before I bought it. the belt was a stage two put on by the dealer they said the belt was defective.

 

isnt this why gm discontinued stage 2, cause engine lights came on on cars and **** started ****** up?

If I order it can I still get the dealer to install it and flash my ECU without voiding my waranty? Please help before I waste over $700.

 

They take about 2 weeks to come in though.

The car seems to be down right finicky when it comes to mods. If your particular one doesn't like them, it'll let you know. It's that damn Maf, gm designed it way too sensitive. It seems that every bad Cobalt ever made winds up being posted about on this site.

 

pcm needed an update. No charge. Car runs great now paint prob solved. Pat O'brian's did all the work with no hassel plus gave me the factory warranty on kit and all labor for 3 years.
