dry rott looking around dashboard?

was wondering if anybody has looked at their dashboard around there stereo? on the corners ( edge) it looks like its dryrotting or bubbling( the best way to describe it) BUT if you touch it, it feels smooth to the touch, just looks that way! i wound take pic ( i ll try anyway) but not sure if you ll beable to see it. then again i ts been hotter then hell out here so it could be the heat in side the causing it.

ive never noticed it either...but i also have 15% tints and use a protective shield in my front window. Question: did you actually pay for 50% tints? arent those almost LIGHTER than factory?

BINGO! is the heat causing this or a defect, or heat is causing the defect

i use 1 in my front window too. i believe 50% is darker then the factors, would have to look at what the factors tint is though. not that dark just enough to notice. mines darker @ 50% ( its legal in Va, anything darker is illegal and cops love given out tickets for illegal tint!)

factory tint is the legal limit
so 50% tint is darker than 50 VHT, because it is compounded with factory tint
