Doesnt matter am sure they can be used on are cobalt's. We could replace are stock one with one of these. Almost the same height and width but thicker!! I'm going to investigate this further....calling ZZP tomorow.

This is the one I would get :

"Radiator 2 is standard for our Stage 2 intercooler kits. It has a 20.6x12.7x1.3” inch core. Overall measurements are 24.25x13x2. It is rated at 65,400 BTU, has a fluid capacity of .37 gallons and a dry weight of 4.25 pounds. This is the minimum size you should consider for a full size intercooler kit."

This could replace our existing one easy or add to it. Brand new 100$ + 20$ 3/4 diameter inlet's. Sounds like a good bargain to me. But your right I will need to try it first to see. I am going to contact ZZP about this...

It does look awesome..I have to say they did a good job. I think I know which cooler Cobalt Addiction are using for their kit... check this one out, I could be wrong but it looks 100% identical.

I was going to post this the other day when they made the announcement but didn't want to rain on their parade. People suggested using that H/E months ago, in fact DWK150 is using that exact exchanger right now. Cobalt Addiction is just making it easier for you including the fittings and brackets. Personally I don't think it justifies the price (double what the H/E costs), but hey, they got to eat too. Personally, I am going to install the $80 Cobra H/E I just bought and call it a day.

LFP will be introducing our EXtreme heat exchanger specific to the CobaltSS in just a couple weeks. It is being test fitted this weekend. Hope to have a pic. up here by Friday.
Our EXtreme heat exchanger will be 30" long x 3" thick with an 18 fin per. inch core. 100% aluminum, tig welded, larger holding tanks for increased fluid capacity, upper and lower polished core supports, brackets, hardware, hose, clamps, digital stencil of CobaltSS on front.
LFP is in process of writing program for an LFP intercooler reservoir/ice tank also. THat will follow the HE by about 2 weeks.
Our EXtreme HE for the Redline is finished and we are finishing up the reservoir. I believe pics. have already been posted.
Questions/Comments feel free to drop me an email.

well I know the 6 feet of -12 braided hose was around 86 dollars or so and the fittings are pretty f'n expensive too... and its a business their job is to make money.... I see it as a fair price considering the benefits and the ease of install,

I agree that the stuff that they are using is top notch and expensive. I just don't think you can justify using that, when some off the shelf tubing and hose clamps would do the same thing for $10. The system carries little to no pressure so steel braided lines would be over kill.

Yeap, I agree "Automobiliben"! Those braided lines are top quality but not needed at all for this application.

Awesome! Also it appears there are some options out there when it comes to upgrading the H/E according to some of the other posts in this thread.

Thanks,
Chris~
