What up all? I'm new to the site so I am introducing myself.
Name is Jared, or splink. I'm driving a 2006 Chevy Cobalt SS/SC. She has white racing stripes and a K&N CAI.
I am from the Kittanning, PA area, about 45 minutes north of Pittsburgh, PA.
Once I spend some time on here I'll figure everything out and try to get some pics up but for now hop over to my cardomain site... http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2411747 ... to see the car.
I don't really know what this site is all about but it looks as if you arrange meets and cruises, along with help and advise which is what I wanted.

Well.... if you're looking for an active group to get together with, eat, drive, race, etc... you've come to the right place.
You're a bit out there even by our standards, but if you're willing to drive, we've always got stuff going on. Just mainly they are in the Pittsburgh / Greensburg ( 35 minutes southeast of the bhurgh ) / Irwin area.
Some of us Autocross ( Beaver / North Park ) and some drag race ( Pittsburgh Raceway Park "prp" ), and others just drive the snot out of them...
We're always getting together... sometimes many times in a week. Just keep tabs in the NOrth East section. There's always 3-6 threads going about us.

im not to far from Pittsburgh/greensburg, don't know the irwin area to well though.
my car is blue, Laser Metallic Blue to be exact, there are some good shots of it on my cardomain that I linked to in the last post.
I probably wont be able to get down every week but a couple times a month ill be around, ill keep up with the site though to see whats going on.

Well if you can get to Greensburg, Irwin is a breeze. We even have our own Turnpike Exit...lol
Car cruise every Satruday ( weather permitting ) right near the exit. ( less than 1/2 mile ) Starts in April, and runs thru October I think.
Other than that.... just keep an eye out for our plans... they're always posted.

Welcome! Like littlestealthss said, we're always doing something. Tomorrow night we'll be at Pittsburgh Raceway Park on 22 for Sport Compact Night. There's a thread about it in the NE Regional forums if you're interested.

Did Tom henry chevy put those stripes on??? They did another members' car as well ( cobaltss313 ... Luigi ) and he has an 05 Arrival blue with the stripes painted on.
That would be a nice photo shot of both cars together.

yes tom henry did. it was used as a pace car when i bought it, they had it at carlisle, might have seen it there if you were there. I had them take the pace car lettering off though but left the stripes on.
