Hp Tuning Vs Intenses PCM (best race ive ever had)

Ok so i finally got my CASE relearn and come FLYING home from the dealership yesterday. Called up my fellow Delawarean cobalt ss/sc owner told him everything. Decided to meet up. All the aftermarket parts are the same, only difference is i have the intense pcm and i have a very YELLOW car. He got Hp Tuned and have a very RED car.

After market mods include: Pulley Boys 2.8 Pulley, 42 lb Injectors, NGK Spark Plugs, Injen CAI, Stiffy TD.
Please take into mind these races were completely friendly (except for the last one).

FIRST RACE Roll started at 20. Very even, we were right with each other through 3rd gear. 4th gear I Inched a half a length on him.

Second race roll started from 40, he jumped a little early so he went a half of a length ahead. Stayed a half of a lenght ahead until the extreme end of 3rd gear. then i got the half length back and was inching when the race ended.

3rd race was the same as the second race rollstarted at 40 but i think i shifted alittle early in third and he beat me this race.

Last race was a flaged jump start. We both agreed to hold nothing back, so i went completely wide open this race. We also agreedwe wouldnt powershift tho. I jumped at 2 grand i think he revd alittle higher not too sure. He got me off the line, not by much be enough to notice. But never the less by the middle of second gear we were right with each other. Shifted to third and started inching on him. The raced ended when i was maby ( i dont know how to say this) Maby a Quarter length ahead of him.
So all in all we were extremely close. Close enough to say the cars were even and the difference was driver but who knows for sure.

Intense uses HPtuners.

So it's really Intesnses Tune vs your friends tune.

This is true... and your friend can keep hunting for more HP... I think HP tuners is the better buy...

1. More fun to do it yourself
2. It is custom
3. You can share tunes
4. You pay once for an infinite amount of tunes
5. If you buy it with a few friends and share the cable it is the cheapest tune you can buy! I have a 2.9" pulley and 42.5 lb injectors with HP tuners and it all only cost me $350!!! How much did you pay for your tuning and kit?

But all in all you have a nice tune and intense is proven power so what ever way you wanna do it is fine.

uhh so you had to agree that you would run hard during a race. the other two weren't races then. and agreed you wouldn't power shift? was this some type of redneck bracket racing lol....

Man, you have the old version of driver mod. You need 4.0 to beat them!

Not sure if im in the right thread to ask this, but does the the upgraded PCM's, whether its intense or hp, void warrentees, take away the A/C, take away cruise control, or any other problems? my racing friend said it most likely would. i enjoy my a/c.

I just got INTENSE Stage 4 with their PCM, My AC and Cruise Control worked just fine. Tell your friend to put down the pipe. As For warranty, i'm not %100 sure of it either way.

If your concerned about warranty just flash it back to stock, you can do that with HP tuners
