Intake Temp with HP Tuners?

Me and my friend Mase just ran his Hp Tuners program on my 2005 Cobalt SS/SC and we noticed that my intake temp is 140F vs his Redline at 74F. I was wondering why this is???? I have STG 1 , 2.7 pulley, Fujita Intake, Magnaflow muffler, Ground wires etc. Also what should your coolant temp be?? Mine was at 174F or something I am running 17psi boost......

Yuor coolant temp is fine. Were you looking at your IAT2 and his IAT1? That sounds like the difference.

The more boost the greater the heat period. It could also matter how long the car has been running (heat soak).

There are 2 intake temps on our cars, one before the throttle body (IAT1) and the other taken after the super (IAT2). My IAT1 is usually only a couple degrees above ambient, while my IAT2 is usually around 140F after a couple WOT runs. That's even though the average heat index around these parts is 110F to 115F this time of year. Coolant averages between 180F and 195F for me (that is since stage 2, before it would get up to 220F, noticed the fans come on alot sooner now).

Well if that's true that the difference in temps would be understandable.

we ran the same config file in the scanner (*.cfg) and mine was:

and Hot Carls R/T was:

I think the config for the RL doesn't work on the CSS, cause the knock, ETC, VE Airflow didn't work either.

Anyone else experience this?
