Turboeco Dyno Video/Thermal R&D

Heres a dyno video from back in April.

http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...96369325967918

I'm trying to sell this really nice 2.5" Thermal R&D catback, so listen and see if you like.

Its a $600 exhaust sold through www.saturnmotorsports.net, this is a great deal.

It is a high quality stainless, mandrel bent, show polished, 2piece flanged catback, with silencer. Let me know!

No comments, even if you aren't buying it?

A lot of people on here were telling me they weren't even familiar with Thermal. I found that funny. Now that you've heard a little, what you guys think?

I guess it comes down to brand preference for the most part, and your ear. Both are mandrel stainless 2.5". The different resonators and mufflers, is what makes them sound different.

IMO though Thermal blows magnaflow out of the water, in look and sound. This is a better exhaust for cheaper than the magnaflow.

yes i think turbo eco modified it to pu tit on his car. I just installed it today easy as pie. took a total of 45 minutes to change my oil and put the exhaust on and that's only cause i had to use a hand hack saw.

The sound : this clip doesn't do it justice. it is very smooth and well toned for the size of pipe and the fact that it's a four cylinder. whoever said that corsa sounded smooth never heard a thermal R&D

performance I haven't had the chance to open it up yet so i'll tell you later.

THANK YOU! Glad you like it, I knew you would.

I tried to tell everyone this is better than Corsa, best sounding catback for the SS period. Nice to see you agree with me, see I wasn't bullshittin.

I payed $650 shipped, $50 to modify the hangers, and another $50 from a tig welder to shorten the tip. It stuck out way to far and looked stupid, since the Ion Redline is longer. That said, YOU got one hell of a deal!

I installed the 3" Thermal today, sounds great. Still nice quiet smooth tone, obviously louder when WOT. For sound, the 2.5" I sold you is my favorite. Enjoy it, have a good one!
