making the shifter shorter doesn't really do anythign except decrease leverage. when I get on my other computer I can prove it too.

oh then that should be fine.

I had an RX7 once that all I did was put a knob from like a pinto or somethign on it and it shortend the shifter like 2" just cause the way it threaded.

haha nice ya i can put it back to stock hight to so when i give the car back iam leasin it iam planing on gettin a black SC in about a year

technically, the throw DID shorten, not enough to notice. but lever arm length is directly proportional to arc length. so the actual distance your hand is traveling during a through is shortened...maybe like .000001 inch but whatever
