I'm new to Cobalts, and I have a couple questions. This place is very helpful as I was able to answer a bunch with a quick search, but I still have a couple that I couldn't find myself.

What is the difference between Cobalt SS's and SSC's? Is there such a thing as a four door SS or SSC?

And if a specific car has the tail lights with the large red area and one small white dot, as opposed to the two red circles, does that meen it's not an SS? Thanks

 

there is a naturally aspirated 2.4 liter SS, and a supercharged 2.0 liter SS... differences are many, the first that most would list is the engine... 2.4 has 171 and the ss is way unerrated, but most put down about 215-225 to the wheels stock..

 

Oh man..... the ss/sc is the SS Supercharged. There is also an SS model that has a 2.4 litre motor with no supercharger. You can get an SS or an SS/SC coupe but you can't get an SS/SC 4-door.
The coupes have the round taillights and the 4-door has the single peice squarish taillights.
It's going to be a long night bro.

aaa i hate those taillights... lol i work with someone with a 4 door ls or lt (i think lt) and i cant belive that our cars are basiclly one in the same yet so different... lol she wants to race too for the hell of it (but i would give her a head start bc come on a auto lt 4 door vs the ss/sc)
