I finally took some pics of my car. I think they are unique in the fact that the lighting was close to dusk(don't think we have any of those around) and the car looks absolutely beautiful in the shade of blue dusk lighting produced.

The reflections are beautiful as well. What do you guys think? I think they came out good considerign I'm a point and click type of photographer!

EDIT: Here's a link to higher res versions of the pics if you want them to see them.

VERY NICE!!! Hoping to get mine within the next couple months

Quick ? on the recaros, are they fully adjustable? (slant the back down, move the seat front and back)

Astonishing! Thanks for posting pics. We can never get enough of members' rides. Good clear photos too! ;)

Thanks.

The Recaros are adjustable. They go front/back and back slants. The only thing they are missing is lumbar adjustment(I think.. i didn't really look for it) like the stock seats. There is also no quick release for people getting into the back.
that's a little annoying, but the comfort and support are well worth it. I love them.

Take note of the edit I made above! You can see higher res versions of the pics.

Wow, that color is truely amazing. It looks so awesome in those pictures too. I am torn between Laser Blue and Black for 06, I don't know if Laser Blue will look as good as Arival Blue Metallic does. :cssNET:

Cam9730:

You can still get Arrival Blue for a few months of the 06's. They aren't supposed to switch to Laser until winter.

Co'Baller:

I actually just had a black car before I got this one. I had a black '99 Z24. I bought it new in '99 and put 130K miles on it. It's been so long since it was new, it's hard for me to compare. I also bought some different car soap, detailer spray, and wax for this car. So far it's been very easy to keep clean. It's hard for me to say which factor contributes the most.

I would agree though.. black certainly shows waterspots and dirt more. If you keep on top of things with the washing, waxing etc.. I don't think it's any harder to clean, it just LOOKS dirty quicker and more often because all the spots and dirt show up. Black unlike another color on a car seems to lose it's 'color' more easily. What I mean is take a blue car and a black car.. drive them for a week. They both have the same amount of dirt, but the blue car will look cleaner and still be deeper in color while the black car will look dirty as hell and the you'll have lost your glossy black look.

But.. for many people including myself it was worth it due my preference of the deep black glossy clean look it can give you. Almost nothing can compare to a freshly waxed deep black shining car. Although, I simply got tired of it after 6.5 years and went with a different, more unique color which I think looks pretty beautiful in itsef.

I think blue looks great out of all of them IMO. Rated the top 3 choices for me is Blue, Black and my Red :)

Do you feel that the Recaro seats were worth the extra money? I have heard of some racing seats to be uncomfortable for long drives.

Sweet looking SS!

Do the recaros adjust up and down, as in height wise, I know the Stock SS seats sat high, then I figured out how to lower them. I can't wait til my car gets in.

I don't think the Recaro's adjust up and down, and I have not noticed them to be uncomfortable at all. I haven't been in the car for more than 45 minutes at a time though.

Nope.. no up or down adjustment. There is little to no room underneath the seat either. They seem to be as low as possible. They are thick seats compared to the standard ones. Adjustments or no adjustments, these are the most comfortable seats I've ever sat in in a sub 25K car. I think they are identical to the Redline seats. I'd go test drive one of those and sit in them for comparison.
