Is it possible to mount an underbody-kit with-out drilling holes on the cobalt?

why dont you want to drill holes?

 

ZIpties, double sided tape. ANd both won't hold the lighting very well for long. I've seen a tube draggung under a car that had them tied to other points of the frame. I almost pissed in my honda that night.

 

I was thinking about it, but i don't want the chance of rust happening.

If i do drill holes, will it void my warranty?

and i was just wondering, if you wouldn't mind helping me, where are the spots you drilled the underbodies at, also, how do you seal up your holes?

my kit actually uses brackets that screw in and then you zip tie the lights to these brackets. Very simple and slick setup. Your application may be different though because my lights are flat tube led lights so i did not have to worry about them showing or getting in the way.

I mounted mine just to the inside of the lift seam on the sides. The back there is not a lot of options and the front lol well the front is technically not mountes to anything rather press fit into the lift but has worked out extremely well. Ill try and take some pics this weekend to give you some ideas.

And you can just use silicone to seal up the holes.

The only reason i could see them voiding your warranty is if you tried to bitch about rust or damage right around the holes otherwise i would not worry about it.

i uzed zip ties but i rigged em in such a way that the weight was distrubted equally and they have been on for 6 months no problems nothing

Dude that sounds like a nice kit, what kind is it? I have yet to see a flat one

Its a Varad kit from car domain, and it is a very nice kit, very bright. I have some pics under a thread titled "rice or nice" but they really dont do it justice at all, you have to see it in person.
