Can anyone tell me the gearing in the SS tranny...thanks :cool:

As per chevrolet.com/cobalt/specifications/ (http://www.chevrolet.com/cobalt/specifications/):

SS Supercharged- specific five-speed manual with overdrive
First 4.05
Second 2.02
Third 1.35
Fourth 0.98
Fifth 0.69
Reverse 3.31
Final 3.94

I've also heard/read that the final drive ratio is 4.05, yet Chevrolet.com shows 3.94.

1st 3.38
2nd 1.76
3rd 1.18
4yh .89
5th .70
final 4.05

So that means 4th gear would be the closest for the 1:1 ratio?
