Im about to buy the NOS Wet kit off of Cobalt-Addiction(best price i have found yet on a wet kit), and would like to get a progressive controller. I have found a couple, but most are VERY pricy. The one that seems to be the most reasonable is the Mini 2-Stage Progressive Nitrous Controller. I just wanted to check and see if this is a good buy or not. It has a built in Window switch as well. This would eliminate the WOT switch as well right?

The reason I want a progressive controller is so i dont put that instant strain on my engine. With a progressive shot, wouldnt you be able to set the RPM to engage the nitrous lower then 3k because its not an instant 50shot?

Has anyone used them that can comment on them? The Mini 2-Stage Progressive Nitrous Controller is legit right? for 220 bux you cant beat it.

the Jacobs unit works well in my experience, must make sure that the solenoids are designed for pulsing, that's how the system works.

the "strain" is still going to be there as nitrous is a more violent combustion by nature, but it will be in shorter bursts as opposed to one long one. honestly, it's not really needed for that concern. the only people that really utilize these controllers are those that run a large shot and need it for traction reasons.

Running a 50 shot, i shouldnt destroy my engine after a bottle or so right?

not even close, I've run a 75 for well over a year of frequent use

you may want to go and research more about nitrous, if you had you would already have answers to most of your questions.

waste of money! those are for racing setups running 150-300 shot. a controller is NOT necessary for a tiny 50 shot.
