As you know I detail cars on the weekend. Well one of my clients is my boss (well not directly, but he is VP of Ops) who owns an 01 Ferrari 360 Modena and a 00 Porsche 996 Turbo. I detail and wash them regularly now, and a few days ago he let me drive them both.

Now, with that being said before you watch the video let me tell you the footage SUCKS. I took the 996 out by myself but obviously had no one to film so the only part I got was me pulling it into the garage to dry and detail it. The Ferrari drive is okay, but just as you see/hear me getting on her my battery went dead (figures). Mr. Nides told me in a few weeks we'll go to a local Saturday evening car show, me driving the Modena and him driving the Porsche. I'll be sure to get better footage then. The Porsche feels slightly quicker probably because it has more torque...but the Ferrari is something else to drive altogether. You can catch the last second or two in the clip of me HALF throttling it before it cuts out. The thing hauls-ass. period.

I have experience with a 996 turbo as well. They are pretty quick. My goal for my cobalt is to actually beat a 996 turbo.

His best run in AWD mode is a 12.4 @ 116mph. Bone friggin stock.
