View Full Version : stones and the intercooler Bob T 07-05-2005, 08:14 PM Anyone have a problem with stones making it through the large air scoop/hole in the front end ? I have 3 good blasts already and only 300 miles . I went to Menards and Home Depot looking for some sort of mesh/screen/stiff material that will still let air through and no one has anything .....Help ? Thanks :rolleyes: Thats not the intercooler in front, it's the A/C condenser or the Engine Radiaitor I can't remember which. There is an intercooler radaitor btw the way it's just not the one in front. Bob T 07-05-2005, 08:52 PM No matter which piece of the car it is. Mesh screens for cars to cover inlets like the SS front end can be found at CAR places, not hardware stores. There are some on-line retailers that sell various styles in bulk pieces that you can cut to fit.
