Anyone have a problem with stones making it through the large air scoop/hole in the front end ? I have 3 good blasts already and only 300 miles . I went to Menards and Home Depot looking for some sort of mesh/screen/stiff material that will still let air through and no one has anything .....Help ?
Thanks

you mean the radiator...intercooler (aftercooler) is under the supercharger...b/t the engine and the supercharger itself...
but yeah, lowes is nice...most home improvment stores should stock that i would think

Thats not the intercooler in front, it's the A/C condenser or the Engine Radiaitor I can't remember which. There is an intercooler radaitor btw the way it's just not the one in front.

No matter which piece of the car it is. It will end up looking like heck and maybe failing in the long run.

So far I'm lucky and only have had a bunch of bees stuck on my grille ;)

There's a company on E-bay selling a very nice looking billet grille for the Cobalt for $69usd.
Someone on here bought one. I just don't remember who. I'm tempted to get one though.

You're looking in the wrong place. Mesh screens for cars to cover inlets like the SS front end can be found at CAR places, not hardware stores. There are some on-line retailers that sell various styles in bulk pieces that you can cut to fit. Try this place, work out from there...

I got something like that for mine from Advance Auto Parts for like $35, just a piece of mesh screen that you cut to fit.
