I've heard the SS s/c exhaust in some of the video clips out on the net and I think is sound nice, but... IDK if you guys have ever heard that exhaust on the VW R32, now that sounds f**king sweet, too me. OK OK my question is, is there some way to get the SS s/c to sound like the VW R32? And does anyone know what type of exhaust the VW R32 has?

Hey man, hate to break your heart, but the R32 is a 6 cylinder

The reason they sound so good is because they use a tuned version of VW's acclaimed VR6 engine, along with a nice dual exhaust

So consequently, its almost impossible to make the SS S/C sound like an R32, unless you want to swap in a small V6

No matter though, the SS S/C sounds awesome enough as it is.

 

even if you could get that system it wouldnt sound the same on the 2.0L SC

 

Uh no, not possible. The same is true for making ones Civic sound like an F355. It's just not possible.

All I just want it to do is rumble/purr like the R32, your saying there isnt an exhaust kit that will be able to give me that nice sound sorta like the R32?

 

i drive a vr6 and the sound is definetly intoxicating...i love wot!

 

The answer is no. You can bend a piece of pipe 1000 different ways and the answer is still no. Each engine type basically has a different note.

 

btw, the r32 engine is not off of their vr6...vr6's are 2.8l while the r32 is 3.2l...it does sound amazing too!
