now im just wondering if anyone has used the fram one and could let me know witch one is the right one...

Throw them both away. Fram is known for making garbage oil fitlers.. Use an OEM or a K&N.

not really one of them the filter color is a bright yellow and the one thats made in the us is a fadded yellow and the middle core on the one maade in bulgaria is bigger then the one made in the us..
so its kinda hard to figure out witch one is the right one and witch one is the wrogn one..
i phoned fram and they told me the one that says made in the USA is the right one... but then how come it does not say FRAM and the part number on it ...liek the bulgaria one says...

i think im going to have to wait till the next weekend to chnage the oil on both the cars ...

Watch out for fake parts like that. People are forging AC Delco parts by stamping them with correct part numbers and AC logos, but in reality they are inferior parts. I don't think oil filters will make too much of a difference in that though, as long as you change them on a regular basis. We were warned here at the dealer about people bringing in outside parts, like a/c compressors and such.

I have always used Fram until recently....I've done a lot of research on the topic. Yur best oil filters are Wix, Mobil 1, K&N, AC Delco and some people like Purolator.

I recommend you buy in bulk so always have one...you will eventually use them. If not bulk, then buy 2. When you use one, buy another...

A fram is about the cheapest filter you can buy so I would doubt that's it.

I'm sure they're both good, just came from different factories. If you don't have a problem with running a crappy fram in the first place, I'm sure they'll both work.

the size of the box doesnt matter, you may have a new one and one thats been sitting around for a while.

id throw them both away though, i wont use fram anything for my car.

id say they are the same but i cant say for sure without seeing them in person. do you not have a walmart or autoparts store or soemthing open that you could go to and get a different one?

Fram! Garbage! Use WIX if at all possible. They last the longest and hold up the best, thats why they're the official filter of NASCAR!

AC Delco ftw!

Were can I get a mobile filter? Ive just been buying AC delcos.

The One I pulled out (which is completely from the factory) is made by some weird company like, Kensiger? or Henger? or something weird like that, and it was made in germany.

And btw, Anything fram or below or junk.

Cheap parts, for cheap cars, (and usally cheap people) I always say.

Ditch the Fram. Get a K&N or a wix. Even a Napa gold would be ten times better if your in a jam for one.

Hengst.

Anyway, I have a stock of Purolator Pure Ones I got when Pep Boys had them on sale. I'll be set for a couple years.

Bring them back and go to your closest UAP Napa store and buy the Napa Gold filter. It's made by Wix and having compared the Fram and the Gold together myself, I'll never use the Fram.
